[edit] RE: Council Bluffs

Hey, I am from Las Vegas and worked at the Rio here. I use to update a lot of the pages with information from Harrah's Factbook and other sources. -Ben 10:40, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Help!

I need a little bit of help. I have two major questions. I wanted to add a couple of different pictures to the Omaha, Nebraska page because all but two of the pictures are of the downtown area and I wanted to add the Old Market and a couple of other pictures. Also I wanted to add a picture to ConAgra's page. The pics are at these links...

ConAgra http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r244/LocalBandAid02/OldMarket%20Pics/DSC00458.jpg

Old Market Omaha- http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r244/LocalBandAid02/OldMarket%20Pics/DSC00460.jpg

Also, I wanted to edit the bottom thing in Harrahs. I know that is probably something really dumb.... At the bottom of the Harrahs Entertainment page it has a 'Harrahs Properties' thing with the little overview. It has Horsehoe Council Bluff. It should have an s on the end of Council Bluff so it should be Council Bluffs. Which is the name of the city. How do I change that? Thanks!! --LocalBandAid02 21:16, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

You may not use these pictures, since they're copyrighted, and to make a long story short, Wikipedia doesn't allow the fair use of copyrighted pictures where free ones could be easily created. However, Commons:Category:Omaha, Nebraska has many free pictures which you may use.
It seems you have already figured out how to correct the spelling of Harrah's Council Bluffs. However, I deleted the article as per speedy deletion criterion A7, because the article did not assert notability. Sorry. Sandstein 22:15, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
Okay first of all. Those pictures were taken by me. So they are not copyrighted and even so I have different ones on my computer that I would like to upload to make the Old Market page better because if you live anywhere near here you know the pictures on there are not true representations of the Old Market. I asked you how to upload pictures onto a certian site. Not anything else in regards to them. So please answer that question.
Next I do not know why you decided that the article Harrah's Council Bluffs should be deleted but I do not think it should have since our entire city pretty much depends on the three casino's that are here. So why should it be considered an "Unremarkable people, groups, companies and websites" if an entire city depends on it. I know that I can not say anything against it because in the end it is up to staff to determine what is 'remarkable' but I think it is completely uncalled for of you to delete something you have no idea about.
Last, I really appreciate it that you came to my page and 'helped' me but you did not fix the 'HORSESHOE Council Bluffs' I did not say Harrahs needed the s on the end. I said Horseshoe did. And I asked you how to fix it. So please let me know so that in teh future instead of having to ask that I can do it myself without having to 'bother' staff. Thank You. --LocalBandAid02 15:23, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
