[edit] lock keepers

A lock keepers job wasn't as easy as it looks. They had to be up early they had to have strength and had to have alot of pations. I think they their job was extremly important because how would the narrow boats get through if the locks were closed?,no one would have the coal or the iron and people could loose their jobs such as iron masters and mine owners. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 172.206.212.251 (talk) 07:51, 14 April 2007 (UTC).
