Are you sure the poem is by Andrew Lang? I've seen the words attributed to Lady John Scott (1810-1900) who adapted a broadside by Sanderson of Edinburgh (1838). [edit] In the High Castle?
I've read the Duchess of Albany fled King James I to Balloch Castle, on Loch Lomond. Is it on Inchmurrin, or elsewhere? Trekphiler 18:58, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Original Loch Lomond lyrics
I have always heard different lyrics than these. Matt McGinn sang the original Loch Lomond lyrics as written apparently by a rebel Donald MacDonald around 1746 after the battle of Culloden......Alec Fraser 05:14, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
