"Locomotion" is a hit single recorded and released by British band Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, and is also the first single taken from their 1984 album, Junk Culture.
Even though the song is thought to be about the single and dance The Loco-Motion, and the single cover hints at it, the song is actually about real locomotives, as on the video, the duo are seen riding on one.
Although critics didn't like the group's new, more commercial sound, this single is one of their greatest successes, peaking at number 5 in the UK Singles Chart and in The Netherlands.
