Lochlan Denholm (December 10, 1993) is one of the 4 boys playing Billy in the current production of Billy Elliot the Musical now showing at the Capitol Theatre Sydney, Australia.
Lochie is a 14 year old Victorian gymnastics champion from Melbourne, who attended Koonung Secondary College, where he recently featured as Hot Blades Harry in Urinetown the Musical. His father, Andrew, is a musician and he has one older sister.
Lochie represented Victoria in gymnastics in 2005, began dancing at the Gay Wightman School that year, and in 2006 began classical ballet.
Lochie made his debut as Billy Elliot on 14th November 2007. He was sidelined for a few weeks in February/March 2008 with an injury.Corey Snide had to once again temporarily rejoin the Australian cast.
His father, Andrew, is a musician and he has one older sister.
The other three Australian Billy Elliots are Nick Twiney, Rarmian Newton and Rhys Kosakowski.
All four of the original Australian Billy Elliots jointly won the 2007 Best Actor in a Musical at the Sydney Theatre Awards on 21 January 2008.
