Local Resilience Forum
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
One of the key requirements of The Civil Contingencies Act 2004 was for key emergency responders and specific supporting agencies to form a 'Local Resilience Forum' (LRF) based on Police areas.
An LRF allows responders access to a forum to consult, collaborate and disclose information with each other to facilitate planning and response to emergencies, and produce a Community Risk Register. Links to all LRF's can be found through the Emergency Management website.
More information regarding LRF's and civil contingencies / emergency planning can be found via the UK Resilience.
