Loading Master is a term used for marine transfer operators in other countries around the world but not in the United States. In American ports and marine terminals the Loading Master-PIC is called the Dock Operator-PIC and not much credence is given to this position, which calls for an increasing amount of knowledge regarding Federal, State, and local regulations.
