The section in the article for 50 Cent you have placed was removed due to the rules in "What Wikipedia is Not". There is weasel words, spamming and the external links. Please refrain from using spamming, external links (such as You Tube and MySpace), and weasel words. Please see frequently asked questions or resolving disputes. Thanks. It is important to keep a cool head, especially when responding to comments against you or your edits. Personal attacks and disruptive comments only escalate a situation; please keep calm and remember that action can be taken against other parties if necessary. Attacking another user back can only satisfy trolls or anger contributors and leads to general bad feeling. Please try to remain civil with your comments. Thanks! [edit] Incivility

It seems to me that you are acting in an uncivil manner. Please remain civil and don't resort to making personal attacks or instigate edit wars. SWATJester Ready Aim Fire! 03:48, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

  • Fine, FINE! In the future, I'll try and be more patient with [individuals of lower intelligence] such as yourself and [that other fellow]. Thanks for stopping by, and have a nice day! :D Lmz00 14:32, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

[edit] Your talk page

Please do not remove legitimate messages from your talk page. Talk pages exist as a record of legitimate communication, and in any case, comments are available through the page history. You're welcome to archive your talk page, but be sure to provide a link to any deleted legitimate comments. Thanks. — ERcheck (talk) 23:28, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hoodstar

Please do not deliberately introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Hoodstar. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. — ERcheck (talk) 23:23, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

Specifically — changing Capitol Records to Slot-A-Lot and changing the name of the album from "Hoodstar" to "Hood Star". — ERcheck (talk) 00:24, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

I didn't change it to Hood Star, it must've been from a previous edit that I didn't notice (and therefore didn't change). And if you'd read the article, it clearly says: Chingy's Slot-A-Lot release "Hoodstar" debuts at No. 8 on The Billboard 200, his second-best charting set. The rapper's debut, "Jackpot" peaked at No. 2 in 2004. Lmz00 00:25, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

Specifically — changing Capitol Records to Slot-A-Lot and changing the name of the album from "Hoodstar" to "Hood Star". — ERcheck (talk) 00:24, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

Did you not read what I wrote? If you'll look at the article, nowhere is it spelled "Hood Star." And just to make you happy, I changed it to Slot-A-Lot/Capitol, which is common on other articles as well, like G-Unit/Interscope. Lmz00 00:28, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

My mistake on the "Hood Star". It was an earlier edit, which you corrected. I apologize for that misread. The Capitol Records should remain — unless you can show that the various sources that attribute the album to Capitol are incorrect.

[edit] Your talk page, again

Please do not remove legitimate warnings from your talk page or replace them with inappropriate content. Removing or maliciously altering warnings from your talk page will not remove them from the page history. You're welcome to archive your talk page, but be sure to provide a link to any deleted legitimate comments. If you continue to remove or vandalize legitimate warnings from your talk page, you will lose your privilege of editing your talk page. Thanks. — ERcheck (talk) 00:26, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your message on my talk page

You left the following message on my talk page:

http://billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003187154 Perhaps you should pay a visit to that website. To the above poster who thinks I'm "notorious" for edit wars... perhaps you'd benefit from actually READING the versions I was reverting. Unless you have a source that confirms that Chingy "performed oral sex on Nelly to help settle their beef," I suggest you keep quiet. Your edits on the Mase article were also pointless and incorrect, as I pointed (just two out of MANY of your errors) out in the talk page. Don't even get me started on 50 Cent. I suggest you read that talk page as well. That's your problem, too much editing, not enough READING. I also suggest you make use of spell check when editing articles in the future, although I wish you wouldn't edit at all, seeing as how you hurt Wikipedia more than help it. Anyway, have a nice day (that goes out to both of you). Lmz00 00:22, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

It is not clear if you are addressing the message to me, or the editor who posted a message above yours. I did not put any information on the Chingy page. In fact, my only edits there were to revert to previous versions that you had posted. I did not edit the Mase article. So, I can only conclude that you were addressing the other editor. In that case, please bring your dispute to his page — don't use my talk page for a discussion.

As Wikipedia is a community of editors, I suggest that you avail yourself of Wikipedia:Dispute resolution, rather than get into an edit war with the other editor. Don't goad each other into incivility and personal attacks.

ERcheck (talk) 00:36, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

The first and last sentences were for you. Everything in between was mainly for "LILVOKA." And yeah, I've tried leaving comments on that person's talk page and all that good stuff, but the kid just doesn't listen. I, for one, don't have much patience (and find it rather hard to remain PC) when it comes to dealing with morons. I'm working on that. I don't know how you do it, but more power to you. :) Lmz00 00:48, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Rotten Apple

Thanks for your edit on Rotten Apple. I took that table from another album, and I guess I forgot to edit everything, ;) Thanks. --Zimbabweed 08:09, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Momentary lapse of common sence on my part. I added it based on a false source, did't bother to check if it made sence. :(

[edit] Murda Mase vs. Mase Murder

Hi, you keep reverting the article on Mase to include his previous name as "Mase Murder". I can find references to his previous name as "Murda Mase", including info from G-Unit. Is this a serious edit? CMacMillan 00:41, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Skip that, I've now got confirmation of both "Murda Mase" and "Mase Murder". CMacMillan 00:43, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:04 hd.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:04 hd.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 02:15, 8 January 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 02:15, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Possibly unfree Image:09 hd.jpg

An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:09 hd.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. Please go to its page for more information if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. [edit] Your edits to Ja Rule

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Lmz00! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but please note that the link you added in is on my spam blacklist and should not be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an Imageshack or Photobucket image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was genuine spam, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 05:17, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

ImageShack is blacklisted because, as stated in Shadowbot's warning message, it isn't the proper way to include images in articles. If you wish to use an image, please upload it. Shadow1 (talk) 20:06, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Autoblock of 72.178.173.236 lifted or expired. You may wish to read up on autoblocks, if you're curious about what happened (they're set by the server, and it looks like CSCWEM may have forgotten to check for any, when unblocking you originally.

Stay out of trouble, eh? ;)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Mzi.bhjnifte.170x170-99.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Mzi.bhjnifte.170x170-99.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:CD Breakthrough.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:CD Breakthrough.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:45, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Amine_2005_240x180.jpg

I have tagged Image:Amine_2005_240x180.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. Thank you. MER-C 09:57, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Replaceable fair use Image:Humphrey_2005_240x180.jpg

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Humphrey_2005_240x180.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 7 days after this notification, per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. – Quadell (talk) (random) 20:20, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
