[edit] Comment
I hope you will consider my note to TreveX as mere prudence and certainly free of ill-will. My sincere apologies if you feel it was offensive in any way; I tried to be as discreet as I could.
I am at the moment interested in the article we've been discussing, but I am trying to narrow my work focus at Wikipedia. I want to take this up as a project, but I am still deciding how to divide up my time. Thing is, the article isn't exactly what I thought it was at first glance. I actually will have to gear up and read these laws. My main interest would be at the general "Pseudo-photograph" article. Given the recent court cases, I'm surprised there's not more on it.
Sorry you think Wikipedia stinks. If you just accept that everything must be taken with a grain of salt, it actually becomes kinda fun. And there's not much else that can be taken at face value except actual published research. It's not perfect, but for some of us, it is a learning adventure in which no politics are implied. You're free to hate it, but I'd hope you would accept my friendship, depite my being involved with this "useless piece of crap". Yea it sucks, but then again, when compared to perfection, a lot of stuff we take for granted does.
Lot's of things can be biased, such as at the LGBT or whatever international thing. I added some of the material from NAMBLA after reading your userpage. There are people, such as myself, that will take things at face value, look at the evidence, and decide from there, and defend what's right to the top. In a way though, the system allows people like you to come in and point out the errors that you cited (and many ppl do!), and then they get looked at and improved. The system works at least a little...
I could go on, but I'm probably skirting the end of your patience. Thanks for your time. --DanielCD 20:41, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
- I have a lot of patience... well, sometimes ;-) lmno 20:27, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Semi-Pro
It was meant to indicate that he was a semi-professional backyard wrestler who returns a single hit on google, back to his own website. I didn't feel that minor semi-professional athletes in minor sports warranted their own articles. Not my leg 00:50, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Severe Tire Damage
Yeah, you are missing something. Severe Tire Damage is, for the most part, a live album. So, for the most part, it has no mew material on it. TMBG don't consider it an "album" per se, but rather lump it wth their EPs and compilations. You've got a good eye, though. Thanks for noticing it was left out. I'd better move it to the right section in the discography. —User:ACupOfCoffee@ 15:56, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Reversion of seminal lesbian separatist
Please don't take offense with my reversion of this edit, where you reintroduced seminal lesbian separatist. Note that seminal may confusingly suggest semen. The Rod (☎ Smith) 18:48, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Disambiguation
"why do you think substituting united kingdom for british is disambiguation??? grrrrrrrrrrrrrr"
Answer: Because British is a disambiguation page and United Kingdom is not. If you think United Kingdom is not the correct page for content relevant to this link, then please be bold and select a different page with content, but don't revert the link to point to a disambig page. --Russ Blau (talk) 20:48, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] ?
Hi Lmno. Can you provide a citation for this edit? We should probably also clarify where that stuff's illegal. Thanks, JayW 02:13, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Migrating your userbox per GUS
Hi,
I wanted to ask your premission to migrate your self-created userbox Template:User vote if you want to to my userspace per the German Userbox Solution, so it won't be in danger of future deletion.

[edit] Image:2004-10-09 Huskisson monument.jpg
Hi, I noticed you uploaded a picture of the Huskinsson monument on the William Huskisson page. Unfortunately there appears to be no copyright information or... nahhh, only kidding. I'm contacting you because the picture interested me. The picture just looks like a railway track in the middle of nowhere. It was only when I looked at the enlarged image that I noticed the monument was even there! Why is this monument there? My only guess is that's where he died and the railway station has since been knocked down, but that seems unlikely? Could you by any chance enlighted me please and thankyou?--Crestville 16:02, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- Ha ha, thanks for getting back to me about that! And within the decade too! Yeah, if I remeber correctly, I was interested because the monument just seemed to be in the middle of nowhere, but you've perfectly explained why that is. It does seem a shame that no-one can get to it anymore. To be honest, I'm sure I've seen some contemporary illustrations of the accident and the location looked much more grand, but I suppose if they don't stop there anymore there's no need. Poor old Husskinson and his forgotten monument. --Crestville 12:14, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Human fetus 1 month.JPG
Thank you for uploading images/media such as Image:Human fetus 1 month.JPG to Wikipedia! There is however another Wikimedia foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In the future, please consider creating an account and uploading media there instead. That way, all the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons (you may view images you have previously uploaded by going to your user contributions on the left and choosing the 'image' namespace from the drop down box). Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Help us spread the word about Commons by informing other users, and please continue uploading!

[edit] Image source problem with Image:Hitler-head-for-template-probably-will-be-deleted.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Hitler-head-for-template-probably-will-be-deleted.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:34, 20 April 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 21:34, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
