LMC Model 1200 Snowcat. The LMC snowcats were formerly named DMC, and was originally named Thiokol. The LMC 1200 is an improved version of the Thiokol Spryte. Thiokol sold their snowcat division to John DeLorean in 1978 and manufactured and sold snowcats under the brand name DMC, while the company was named Logan Machine Company. The company sold DMC branded machines for about 3 years and then switched the brand name to LMC. Logan Machine was later resold to the management staff and operated from its headquarters in Logan, Utah LMC remained in production until 2000 when it filed for bankruptcy.
