Llian is one of the heroes in Ian Irvine's The View from the Mirror quartet.

He started off as a teller at the college of histories in chanthed. he todl a tale of the forbidding never heard of before and was made a master chronicler. he then got kicked out of the university and sent to thurkad where on the way he met karan and ended up playing a major role in the tale of the mirror. He got blamed for quite a few things and was disliked by most of the party but he still remembered everything and made it into the tale. He ended up having a child with karan and we are currently waiting on a prequel being thought about by ian irvine as to what happened at the end after the books.

But in the next set of books llian is discredited by the scrutators and his tale made forbidden. We are never told what the reason for this was.
