[edit] Official name at the beginning of an article

In most of airports` articles, official name is written at the beginning of an article, while original airport`s name is written in the second place or is explained somewhere else in an article. For two examples, check George Bush Intercontinental Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport articles. That`s why I put Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport on a first place instead of Brnik Airport.

The thing is, Brnik Airport is most commonly used, so I think it would be the appropriate term to use. See Munich Airport. Plus, Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport is a bit of a long name and unpractical to repeat in the article. edolen1 13:55, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
By the way, I changed the first sentence from "originally known as" to "commonly known as", as its original official name was just Ljubljana Airport. edolen1 13:57, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

OK, I am confused, is it 38 000sqm or 32000sqm, bc I was made to belive new terminal is going to be 32000sqm. thanx >>>?Mic of orion (talk) 20:17, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

New terminal will be 38000sqm. The first plan was for 32000 sqm, but it was extended few years ago. 84.255.194.198 (talk) 18:26, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
