[edit] Recent seasons
In the 2005/2006 season Ljusdal finished bottom of the Allsvenskan Norra, however they managed to come 5th in the Superallsvenskan and therefore avoided relegation. Unfortunately for Ljusdal the 2006/07 season proved to be the year when they were relegated, a loss against Tillberga on Valentine's day proved to be the end of the survival hopes.
[edit] Markku Huhtanen accident
Ljusdal player Markku Huhtanen was struck down by a car whilst on a golf trip holiday in Mallorca in March 2006.
