Ljupčo Jordanovski

Ljupčo Jordanovski (Macedonian: Љупчо Јордановски) (born February 13, 1953 in Štip) was the acting president of the Republic of Macedonia from February 26, 2004, to May 12, 2004. He is a member of the SDSM party. As Speaker of the Assembly, according to Macedonia's constitution he was the successor to the president in the event of the president's inability to serve. Accordingly, when President Boris Trajkovski was killed in a plane crash on February 26, 2004, Jordanovski was sworn in as president. He left office after presidential elections in which he did not run.

Jordanovski took office as Speaker of the Assembly on November 18, 2003. He continued in that position after his time as acting president, until August 2, 2006.

On July 6, 2006, he was accredited Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia to the United States of America, but in the end of December he was recalled by the Macedonian Government.
