Liza Cody

Liza Cody (born Liza Nassim in London on April 11, 1944) is an English crime fiction writer. She is known for two series one concerning private eye "Anna Lee" and professional wrestler/bouncer "Eva Wylie." The "Anna Lee" books inspired the Anna Lee (TV series), but the TV series is said to depart from the books in many ways. She has also done stand-a-lone novels.[1]
