Liz Walters is a Welsh politician and member of Plaid Cymru. She is standing for Cynon Valley constituency in the National Assembly for Wales election, 2007

Liz Walters was born in Aberdare and continues to live in the town of her birth. She was educated at Aberdare Girls School and Ystrad Mynach College.

She has worked as a coroner's clerk, nursery nurse and nanny and is currently a Portage Advisor, working with children with special needs.
Liz Walters is chairperson of Plaid Cymru's branch in Aberdare and lists education, health and the environment as her main political interest. Liz Walters is also determined to see adequate investment in valleys communities in order to ensure prosperity and opportunity for all.
