Liz Light

Liz Light is a director who currently runs a youth theatre called Stage2 in Birmingham, England.

She is the sister of actor John Light, is a third cousin of the poet Laurie Lee and the film director Jack Lee. Her father John Light Senior is a retired headmaster and is currently the acting Chairman of the Gloucestershire County Cricket Club.

Since setting up her first theatre company at the age of 16 Liz has directed over 100 productions, the majority with casts of over 100. She set up Stage2 19 years ago and has been at the helm ever since. A LAMDA teacher for over 20 years, she has also worked in Marketing, Fund-Raising and Public Relations for organisations such as mac , Birmingham School of Acting and the Royal Family.
