Liz Buchanan (River City)

Liz Buchanan (played by Eileen McCallum) is a fictional character in the BBC Scotland soap, River City.
Liz first appeared in Shieldinch when her son Archie was due to mary Gina Rossi. She at first appeared snobby, taking an instant dislike to Gina and her family. Eventually, however, she was won over and is now good friends with Gina's father Malcolm. As a proud parent, she was blind to Archie's failings and was even drugged by her wayward son. However, it was she that knocked him out cold when he attacked Gina at the home they share and is currently struggling to deal with both grief and guilt.
