[edit] Your "I'm no vandal" comments
Slow down there, Tex (figuratively). There's more to the issue than your cursory and one-sided complaint.
First of all, I reiterated comments that you have had many times before for the same un-commented type of edits. Most people would learn. You instead waited until now to give the reasons for your change; you should have given them then, and all this would have been averted! Simple answer!
Looking through your talk page was a simple matter and done in order to insure that there was precedent. There was. That you OFTEN blank out your talk page is strange as well.
I went out of my way to give you the assumption of good faith, trying to be constructive. Either you didn't bother to read that part (the vast majority of my comments to your talk page) or you seemingly didn't care.
The image IS gone again, yes. But the difference is a new article is now up that addresses this specific topic and uses this image instead. The old article had a wider net, one that encompassed the image. Now its range is way narrower, and the subject of the image is covered in a different article.
Take a breath. I have gone through placing vandal warnings on many pages. Yours was not one of them. In assuming good faith, I worked to help, not hunder. Too bad you don't have the same mentality.
But have a great day anyway! I hope you have a great "career" as it were on Wiki. We need good editors... keep learning from others (not me by any stretch! I'm not that involved!) and keep helping. The strength of Wiki is the number of editors and people adding content regularly!!!
