[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Michelle.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Michelle.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Project FMF (talk) 00:27, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Notability of Tab & Da Villon
A tag has been placed on Tab & Da Villon requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Blanchardb-Me•MyEars•MyMouth-timed 22:11, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Nice Job
Hey man nice job with creating articles for the Gospel Gangstaz albums. I was about to do that but you saved one more job from me. I want to create articles for X-Raided's albums now but busy to do that. So if your a fan or some type then I would appreciate it! Flesh-n-Bone 10:57, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:No_Pain_No_Gain.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:No_Pain_No_Gain.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 00:04, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked
After talking to Thatcher yesterday, he gave me some advice, so here it goes, I will explain my stor from the start. Payne2thamax I first started on August 26 with my first edit being creating the page for Ken Gernander. Everything was fine for the first few months, no problems and I created my second and third articles Brandon Quintin Adams and Paul Messier. Eventually I had a small problem with User:GoodDay about Hall of Famers, but eventually we came to an agreement. Then in February 2007, a User:Kemor had been vandalizing N.W.A. He first started in December 2006 and had already attacked two other editors. After I had reverted his vadalism he left me this edit summary Hey Paynw2thamax...FUCK YOU. The D.O.C. is not a member of N.W.A. and has never been. Arabian Prince came in 1986 and left in 1988. Datz how it is, bitch. This is why I began attacking him. He left me two more edit summaries The D.O.C. is a voiceless faggot. Lil gay couldn't do it in South Side so he ran to Compton to suck Dre's dick. PS! If you ever start rappin' name yourself as The G.A.Y and If you say something about Me or mention that punk D.O.C., I'll buy wikipedia/n.w.a. page and I'll block you 9 times. PS! Everyone Can Do It Better. Iwas so enraged that I mistakenly said I'll kill you in an edit summary. At the time, I did not know any of the guidlines and wish I had never made that comment, but it was already to late. The Admin who blocked then left wikipedia in April, so any hopes of him unblocking me were thrown away. Payne2thamaxx After Three months, I returned with Payne2thamaxx. Not wanting my work as Payne2thamax to be forgotten, I mentioned that I was once Payne2thamaxx. I then created the Hall of Fame rap group Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five. Unfortunatly being that I still did not know the guidlines I added pictures to infoboxes and made two rude comments. I created my first album article Young, Rich & Dangerous by Kris Kross, but later in that same day I was blocked for 1 week, but because of Payne2thamax, I was blocked indefintly by a different user. I was unblocked after several months, but I had already made a name for myself as Same As It Ever Was, so I had intended to make a few more edits before letting Payne2thamaxx fade away. I remained inactive as Payne2thamaxx for most of the months following until February 2008 when SAIEW and Tasc0 had an edit war on Nationwide Rip Ridaz and Damu Ridas, so I reverted some edits that he had made. Eventually Tasc0 was breifly blocked so I sorta poked fun of him on two different occasions, which led to him attacking me. Payne2thamaxx was blocked for these harassments. Eventually I realized that what I was doing was wrong and I knew that I could become a better editor so I created four alternate accounts, they were
- Same As It Ever Was As Same As It Ever Was I edited Hip-Hop related articles, I also created over 300 articles. This was my favorite account that I had.
- TheNextOne As The Next One I edited sports related articles. Eventually this was blocked because they thought I was a sockpuppet.
- ComixFlix As Comix Flix I edited Films and Comic related articles. I created on article, Template:Spider-Man video games.
- XMarxThaSpot As X Marx Tha Spot I edited Wrestling related articles.
As these accounts I never did anything wrong, I tried my best to expand Wikipedia rather than hurt or attack any other users. Unfortunatly I only onced used them in a sock pupet way on the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Johnny Ca$h. The only reason for this was because I had worked so hard on the article Johnny Ca$h, I did not want to see it go, I sould have never done this, but at the time I did not know what a sock puppet was because I never read the guidelines. Of course I loved Wikipedia so much and wanted to continue editing and creating articles, so I created Live and Die 4 Hip Hop as Live & Die 4 Hip Hop I edited Hip-Hop articles, I created over 30 articles as Live and Die 4 Hip Hop until Tasc0 reported me. I asked User:Thatcher if it was possible to forget the past and continue editing as Live and Die 4 Hip Hop, he then told me what I had to do and mentioned that if an unblock was granted, I should act the way I do know and not before and point out that the accounts I used were not disruptive, only evading blocks to make up for the wrong doings I did (not in those words exactally) I realize the trolling (I never vandalized) I did was wrong as Payne2thamax and wish I had never done it but I was stupid at the time (And did not know what checkuser was). So I beg for forgiveness and ask that the account be unblocked so I can reincarnate as Live and Die 4 Hip Hop without someone being able to claim "block evasion". As you can see I have not made one act of trolling since and only wish to expand Wikipedia with all the articles I create. (You could unblock my alternate accounts, ComixFlix and XMarxThaSpot, but ultimately I would be happy with just Live & Die 4 Hip Hop). I would be willing to apoligize to Tasc0 and Kemor for the things I said and I go as far to say that if I commit any acts of trolling or vandalism, I will except a indefinite block and leave Wikipedia for good. I am trying to become a good editor and I can honestly say Payne2thamax is and will remain dead, I'm asking for one, last chance, just one last chance.

[edit] Shortening block
I have re-set your block to expire May 1, per our e-mail correspondence. I take you at your word that the creation of this account was an attempt to turn over a new leaf and to get away from your troubled history. Please understand, however, that given this history you are on a short leash, and that you must adhere rigorously to all Wikipedia policies, especially (given your past violations) WP:CIVIL, WP:NPA, and WP:SOCK. I would strongly counsel you to restrict yourself to one account; however, if you do decide to operate alternate accounts in a fashion permitted by policy, I would ask that you let me know (privately, if necessary) as a courtesy.
All of that said, I hope that your future career on Wikipedia is productive and rewarding. Good luck, and please contact me if you require assistance with anything. Sarcasticidealist (talk) 22:55, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] You rang?
What can I do for you? Sarcasticidealist (talk) 20:38, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- Yes I have one question, you said the unblocking would occur one month after I was blocked, so being that I was blocked on March 29 wouldnt that have made it April 29th (Yesterday) rathrer than May 1st (Tomorrow)? Live and Die 4 Hip Hop (talk) 21:34, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- What I actually said was that the unblock would take effect one month from the time I offered you the option, which was April 1. But I'll go ahead and life it now. Best of luck. Sarcasticidealist (talk) 21:44, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
