[edit] Neutrality

This article glorifes John Todd unecessarily. It also vilifies Taos unecessarily. Is the current situation unfair? Yes. Is John Todd brilliant? I think so, but these are value judgements not fit for an objective and neutral reference work. This article needs to be cleaned up to be inline with policy.—WAvegetarian(talk) 22:05, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

How does this "villify" Taos. Taos is mentioned ONCE, and just in reference to owning a trademark. Also, I don't see where this is glorifying Todd. Yes, it cites him, and his studies, work, etc, but that is because he is the one who came up with his and did a large part of the early research. This article is totally in line with policy.--Dbpatt 19:40, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Dbpatt

Sorry, Dbpatt, I basically rewrote the whole article, and just deleted almost everything that was previously there, but forgot to get rid of the neutrality notice. Thanks! More editing still to come!Yodelheck 06:23, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

It still needs some clean up in terms of neutrality and perhaps, more importantly, intellectual honesty. For example, processing 40 litres a day may pretty darned impressive but it is less than 9 gallons. Hardly something to get excited about. This article needs more balance because, believe it or not, there are reasons "living machines" are not used on a large scale at this time. D.Downer ( 4-4-2007)

[edit] New and improved article

This is a wonderfully indepth description of a living machine. I personally am amazed at the content, I was able to understand the highly technical jargon which is generally not a writting style I prefer. I did not pick up on any strong neutrality issues, they seem to have been reworked out of the original article. Job well done.lichen-studios 08:10, 11 March 2007 (UTC)lichen-studios

So this is something that is already being done! I think this is another solution for a mess that needs multi-pronged approach. Thank you for the info. UrbanRez 04:33, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
