[edit] Livestrong Giro Atmos

Removed the text below. This is an article about Livestrong wristbands, not Livestrong products in general. There's no relationship between the Giro Atmos and the wristbands, except they happen to belong to the same charity and bear the same logo. The text should either be moved to an article about Livestrong in general, or about Livestrong promotional products in particular.

Giro, a growing manufacturer of helmets in the United States and Canada teamed up with the discovery channel in early 2007 to release a special livestrong edition of Giro's best selling helmet: the Giro Atmos. 5% of sales from the discovery channel store benefit the Lance Armstrong Foundation, and the helmet comes in a regular black and yellow Livestrong style with the Livestrong logo found on bracelets, cycling jerseys etc.

[edit] LAF

Since this article isn't about the LAF, I removed the following segment of text from the article. Feel free to recycle.

Today, nearly 10 million people are living with cancer, and chances are you know one of them. The Lance Armstrong Foundation helps people with cancer focus on living. We believe knowledge is power and attitude is everything. Join us in our work to provide the practical information and tools they need to live strong.

This page move needs to be undone. livestrong.org is clear that Livestrong is spelled Livestrong. Bollar 23:04, July 24, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Requested move

The page was originally at Livestrong wristband, but was moved to LiveStrong wristband by User:Richardbooth. User:Bollar then moved it back by cutting and pasting., that has now been reverted. Livestrong seems to be correct according to [1] (though it usually uses all upper case). --Vclaw 17:15, 28 July 2005 (UTC)

  • Support -- as above, the page move to LiveStong was in error and most wiki links are to Livestrong wristband. Bollar 21:00, July 28, 2005 (UTC)
  • Support per Bollar and Vclaw. --WikiFan04Talk 4:33, 12 Aug 2005 (CDT)

I've done the move. Paul August 04:19, August 15, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Discussion

Who is the manufacturer of the wristband?

Nike. --WikiFan04Talk 4:32, 12 Aug 2005 (CDT)

[edit] Why?

This entire artical is written in the past sence, yet the LAF and the livestrong campaign are still in effect today

[edit] Image

I think the image should be reverted back to the other one of just the wristband, it was much clearer. WestJet

Agreed- I don't think the current image shows the colour very well. -- Dandelions 13:40, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
