Livingston High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grade from Livingston, in Essex County, New Jersey, as part of the Livingston Public Schools.
Livingston High School offers 20 Advanced Placement Program (AP) courses within eight department areas. The Principal is Pamela Clause McGroarty.
As of the 2005-06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,588 students and 128.2 classroom teachers (on a FTE basis, for a student-teacher ratio of 12.4.[1]

For the 1997-98 school year, Livingston High School received the Blue Ribbon Award from the United States Department of Education, the highest honor that an American school can achieve.[2]
Livingston High School was the 14th-ranked public high school in New Jersey out of 316 schools statewide, in New Jersey Monthly magazine's September 2006 cover story on the state's Top Public High Schools.[3]
In Newsweek's May 22, 2007 issue, ranking the country's top high schools, Livingston High School was listed in 832nd place, the 20th-highest ranked school in New Jersey.[4]
Livingston High School received recognition for its AP Program as a State High School winner of the Seimen's Award for Advanced Placement.

The Livingston High School Lancers compete in the Iron Division of the 20-member Iron Hills Conference.

- DJ Yoshi, class of 1999, (born Eric De Torres), a DJ/Radio & Television Personality who was known as The Official DJ of The NJ Nets Basketball from 2003 - 2005. He currently serves as the Official DJ of Rutgers Football and The Boost Mobile Urban Tour.
- Erin Abrahamson, Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2001, Miss New Jersey USA 2007.[5]
- Jason Alexander, class of 1977, (born Jason Scott Greenspan), an actor who played George Costanza on Seinfeld.[6]
- Bruce Beck, class of 1974, sportscaster on WNBC.[7]
- Harlan Coben, class of 1980, The New York Times best-selling author of Promise Me, Tell No One and No Second Chance, [8]
- Alan Cooper, class of 1967, founding member of Sha Na Na.

- Chelsea Handler, class of 1993, American stand-up comedian and star of the Chelsea Handler Show on E!.
- Jian Li, 2006 graduate who filed a civil rights complaint with the Office for Civil Rights against Princeton University claiming the University discriminated against him on the basis of his race.[10]
- Tommy Page, class of 1988, singer who had a #1 single on the Billboard 100 with I'll Be Your Everything, a collaboration with New Kids on the Block.
- Roger Y. Tsien, chemist who won the Westinghouse Talent Search in 1968 as a student.[11]
