The news on this album was given by Bootsy Collins, who gave an interview for Billboard in June of 2007, and said:

"We're looking at it like, 'What would happen if we wound up a situation down the line as we evolve, that our technology takes over and we are the ones that they're looking at as 'the scum of the earth. It's kind of like 'Planet of the Apes', what would they be like?, What would that feel like?. We're just trying to warn the world that that's comin', and we're having fun with that."[2]

The date of this release has changed three times. First it was going to be released in September of 2007, it was then delayed to May 12, and now it looks to be released on August 5 of 2008.

In a recent interview some song titles were revealed, and the first single will be "Looking for Eden". The interview also states that Chuck D from Public Enemy is going to appear on a song called "What It Is", and that there could be a posible tour and the end of 2008.[3]
