Living In A Box (song)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Living In A Box" is a song released by the eponymous group in 1987 as their debut single. It also appeared on their album Living In A Box.
The song has many features of 1980s song, including a synthesizer-led beat, with Richard Darbyshire's soulful vocal delivery over it. It pretty much defines what most mainstream music sounded like in the UK in the late '80s.
It was the group's biggest hit single on either side of the Atlantic, reaching #5 in the UK Singles Chart and becoming the group's only Top 40 hit in the US, peaking at #17 on the Billboard Hot 100.
