[edit] LSU Facilities
LSU operates at 3 sites across the University. The main Union building, the 'Haigh' (named after long serving Union secretary, Sheila Haigh who retired in 1983, the year the new building opened) is located on Maryland Street, between Rodney Street and Hope Street. Within the Haigh can be found the Union's Executive and Management Office's, Welfare Department, Marketing Department, Entertainment Department, Training & Development, Committee rooms, Training Suite, Student Activities Centres, Union shop and 3 main bars (Scholars, Sanctuary and the Cooler).

Up until September 2005 Byrom Street Campus also housed an onsite bar, similar to Maryland Streets Union bar. Every Friday, Byrom Street bar would hold a Karaoke afternoon, offering £1 beers.
LSU also published a student magazine, Havoc, but this closed down in January 2007 following serious financial troubles with the union.
