Liverpool Land

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Liverpool Land is a land area in East Greenland, bounded by Scoresby Sund, Carlsberg Fjord, Kangerterajiva (Hurry Inlet) and neighbouring Jameson Land. It was named by William Scoresby, who thought that Hurry Inlet had a confluence with Carlsberg Fjord, separating Liverpool Land from Jameson Land.
