Live It Out is the second album released by Metric, a Canadian indie rock band. This album was chosen as one of Amazon.com's Top 100 Editor's Picks of 2005. There are three music videos released from this album so far.

- "Poster of a Girl"
- "Empty"
"Monster Hospital" was the first official single released from the album and has been remixed by MSTRKRFT on the Monster Hospital single, and again on the Poster of a Girl single. "Poster of a Girl" was the second release followed by, "Handshakes", a radio promo released in Canada. The next international single and video released is Empty (released February 12th, 2007).
'Live It Out' was named the 38th best album of 2006 by NME Magazine.
The album was shortlisted for the inaugural Polaris Music Prize in 2006.
