Liv Signe Navarsete (born 1958 in Sogndal, Norway) is a politician for the Norwegian Center Party, and currently Minister of Transport and Communications since 2005 in the second cabinet Stoltenberg. She was also political advisor to the Minister of Health and Social Affairs (social affairs) from 1999 to 2000. Navarsete is also Deputy Leader of the Center Party and widely expected to become their Leader before the 2009 parliamentary elctions.
