Editing Guidelines |
Please remember these guidelines when editing a film article:
- If a non-film article already exists with the name of the film that you are trying to create an article for, disambiguate and use (film) in the title: Film Title (film)
- When writing an article about a particular film, the general format should be a concise lead section, followed by a plot summary of no more than 900 words, production details, a cast list, a reception section, and references.
- Create an Infobox that tells all pertinent information about the film.

It would be nice to have some information on the themes and subtexts of the film. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.67.202.168 (talk • contribs) 21:09, 29 September 2006
- Only if it's sourced. Such information is frequently written as original research, which is a big no-no. If someone can find reliablly-sourced discussions of the themes and subtexts of this intriguing film, they could improve this article by summarizing it in this article, with citations. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 21:28, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
- Speaking of "no no's," could we perhaps tone down the rather authoritarian imposition in the comments section? The symbolism, the moral of the story, the meaning of the story is this. Slow down a bit, people. The "reading" of the text in the article is fine, but it seems rather old fashioned to offer it so definitively. How about we just start with the much more sensible "the film explores. . ." 65.121.75.99 (talk) 04:57, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
