[edit] Weasel words

poem written by *beloved* Hoosier poet James Whitcomb Riley

The question "Beloved by who?" needs to be answered per WP:AWW —Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.53.197.12 (talk) 18:53, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

-- Beloved by Hoosiers is implied. 140.247.248.163 (talk) 20:58, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

I don't see that that can be inferred from the way the word is used in the article. Just because he was from Indiana doesn't suggest that his fans have to be. Pi zero (talk) 12:48, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

It isn't just that there needs to be a statement as to who regards the poet as beloved, but a survey or other evidence needs to be cited to support the statement. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.53.197.12 (talk) 19:35, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

It's not really a statement that can be supported. If you don't like it, remove it. 140.247.248.62 (talk) 06:20, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
