I guess the distribution of a species is always fairly dynamic and at best you'll only be able to come up with a snapshot for a given year. Bird species do seem to migrate based on climatic conditions (or other reasons) and evidently this specie is now appearing in Melbourne (contrary to the map). This is confirmed by the Victorian Department of Primary Industries' information on Victorian cockatoos. So that does make the map in this article a little out of date. -Jeza 04:20, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
