It depends on the point of view generally. The period you mentioned is the most "concentrated" possible.Iulius 22:56, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

Just poking around, but it seems that the article is heavy on Polonization as an oppression of Lithuanian(ism), completely missing Russification, the illegality of the use if Lithuanian, the forcing of the Cyrillic alphabet on Lithuanian, etc....
