Little Yosemite Valley
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Little Yosemite Valley is, as the name implies, a smaller valley near the Yosemite Valley. The Merced River flows through it, draining out over Nevada Falls and into the main Yosemite Valley. It can be reached by a day hike from the main valley, but is also a popular overnight camping area for backpackers, providing access to nearby destinations such as the back side of Half Dome, and Cloud's Rest.[1]
