Little Tiger of Canton (simplified Chinese: 广东小老虎; traditional Chinese: 廣東小老虎; pinyin: Guǎngdōng xiǎo lǎohǔ), aka Cub Tiger From Kwang Tung is a 1973 Hong Kong comedy drama film directed by Chu Mu and starring Jackie Chan. Chan was 17 when the film was made in 1971, and it is considered to be his first starring role.

The film was a small independent release in Hong Kong and was shelved after a limited showing, never receiving an international release.
In the late 1970's, the film was poorly re-edited and amalgamated with some newer footage of Dean Shek and Yuen Siu Tien, and released on VHS in the US under the title Snake Fist Fighter. Later, DVD releases in the US and UK were given the title Master with Cracked Fingers. A new Region 2 release of the amalgamated film was due for release in July 2007, though it will revert to the title Snake Fist Fighter.
Little Tiger of Canton has recently received an international DVD release for the first time. This Region 2 DVD was released on 25th June 2007 under the title of Cub Tiger From Kwang Tung. This is the complete original film as it was released in Hong Kong in 1973, without edits and additions.
[edit] Plot
Jackie has been secretly training in martial arts, as his father (Tien Fong) has forbidden him. Later, some local store owners ask Jackie to help protect them from a greedy Chinese extortion ring. Jackie discovers that the crimelord behind the extortion had killed his father years before and is determined for revenge.
