Little Sahara State Park

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Little Sahara State Park is a state park located in Oklahoma, named for its resemblance to the Sahara Desert. It is also known as Waynoka for the town nearby the dunes.

It is known for dune buggy and dirt bike races. The state park is not a part of a desert. The dunes are thought to be the result of the Cimarron river changing its course.
