Little Rock Township occupies the 6 mile square (with the southeast corner nipped off by the Fox River) in Kendall County, Illinois.

It is located at 41.664934 N, -88.540145 W. It has 91.571 km². (35.356 square miles) of land and 420,977 square meters (0.1625 square miles) covered by water. Its population in the 2000 Census was 7,662. It has 2,683 housing units.

Little Rock is named after Little Rock Creek, which flows through the township. Plano and Sandwich are located in the township. U.S. Route 34 runs east to west through the township.

The township is governed by an elected Town Board of a Supervisor and four Trustees. The Township also has an elected Assessor, Clerk, and Highway Commissioner.
