Little Mangere Island or Tapueanuku is part of the Chatham Islands chain, located 800 km east of New Zealand's South Island. The island lies off the west coast of Pitt Island, 45 km southeast of the chain's main settlement, Waitangi, on Chatham Island. Less than 15 hectares in size and 214m tall, the island is surrounded by steep cliffs.

Little Mangere is privately owned and was once the last refuge of the few remaining Black robin until they were transferred to nearby Mangere Island and South East Island/Rangatira as part of a species recovery plan in the early 1980's.
