Little Flower Public School, #1, 100 Ft Ring Road, Banashankari 3rd Stage is an unaided co-educational English medium school in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Founded in 1988, it is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. It prepares students for the ICSE (Std 10) and ISC (Std 12) Board Examinations conducted by the Council. The school also offers SSLC Karnataka syllabus at the high school level. Since its inception, the school has achieved many milestones and is ranked among the best ICSE/ISC Schools in Bangalore City. Winning accolades and awards at every interschool competition it participates in, it has created a niche for itself in the education strata of the country. It has recently been in the news for being the host school for the 50th International Conference for Principals of the Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate (ASISC).

LFPS is a Day School with classes from Kindergarten to Std.XII and prepares students for the ICSE Std.X, ISC Std.XII and SSLC Std.X Board Examinations. The trilingual method is followed with English as the medium of instruction and Kannada/Hindi/Sanskrit as language options. The system of education cannot remain static. The School endeavours to prepare children for a world which is becoming more and more complex by the day. The emphasis is on all round span the horizon with élan.

The teachers employ the Q-E-D-C-L method to make the students imbibe the education offered. The QEDCL approach (Questioning - Explaining - Demonstrating - Collabrating - Learning by teaching)is also aided by their own creative methodologies.

The teachers employ the usage of Teaching Aides such as Maps, Globes, Models, Charts, Presentations, Graphs etc that enhance the perceptibility of students.

The Academic achievements of the school mirror the perseverance and adeptness of the staff. The school has an excellent record of 100% Results in ICSE, SSLC and ISC since the very beginning. 2006-07 saw students passing out with flying colors, the average percentage being 85+ in ICSE X Std. Little Flowers believes that Value Education forms an integral and important part of the student's life. It advocates that entering the portals of Little Flowers, it is obligatory, that all students place valuable importance on character building and spirituality.

LFPS supports and nurtures students' all round development by making available to students a vast plethora of extra curricular activities. A thorough emphasis is laid on a wide range of co-curricular activities deemed important by the school.

With a foresight to tain students to become responsible citizens of India, the school offers them opportunities to enrol themselves into Cubs, Bulbuls, Scouts and Guides.
[edit] Visits/Excursions/Educational Tours
Regular field visits are organised for all classes as part of the school curriculum. Students have been to Kanyakumari, Kerala, Madurai, Vishakapatnam, Mekedatu, Western Ghats, Goa, Ooty, Kodaikanal, Hampi, Hyderabad etc. as part of the excursions organised by LFPS. Students are regularly taken to site specific field visits like Torekadinahalli Water Treatment plant, Parle Factory, Bannerghatta Biological Park, Chitrakala Parishat, Compost Development plant etc to enrich their classroom learning with outdoor vision.

Little Flowers regularly organises several intra school and inter-house/school competitions. Every child is expectede to participate in these competitions and bring out their talent. Intra School Competitions include the Folk Dance competition, Face Painting Competition, Cookery Competition, Singing Competition etc. Inter house Competitions include the annual Excelsior Quiz for the high school students hosted by the Senior Secondary School students of the school. During the childerns day,
students compete in various inter-house competitions hosted by the teaching staff.

The Annual Science, Art and Talents expos are a platform for students to exhibit their latent and echoing talent. "Halli Illi" is the Ambitious Annual Arts Exhibition organised by the ISC students of LFPS bringing potters all the way from Narayanapur Village - 50 km off Bangalore City on NH4. It happens during the month of January.

Using the body as a medium of communication, the expression of dance is perhaps the most intricate and developed, yet easily understood art form. The fascination for Indian dance all over the world is indicative of the deep-felt need to use the human body to express and celebrate the great universal truths. The Dance team is a replection of the spirit of LFPS. They have recorded performances at all major events across the city and have won everywhere they have gone. Events including the famous Janapada Jathre. The best way to explain the form of dancing they adopt is to go through the seasons on the calendar. Deemed a contemporary dance team, they perform in various Indian art forms. The team has won innumerable accolades for their performances in various interschool competitions.

Since its inception, theatre has come to take on many forms, often utilizing elements such as speech, gesture,
music, dance, and spectacle, combining the other performing arts, often as well as the visual arts, into a single artistic form. Little Flowers since 1988 has realised and fostered the growth of young actors and actresses for twenty years. Since its early productions like "Who's Clone am I?", "Ma, Baap aur Court", "Khabristan ka Ladka", "A Nation to Behold", "Cry Cry Brethren" the dramatics team at LFPS has enthralled all kinds of audiences wherever it has performed. Some of the contemporary productions include "Modern Ramayana", "Hanuman's Tail setting fire to Corruption", "Julius Caesar and the return of Harry Potter", "Baba Yaga", "Salim Anarkali", "The Last Letter", "Romeo Juliet",
"Benny Hinn or Sri Krishna?" and "2006: Funky Awards". Its future productions like "Shirin Farhad", "An Apple that fell" are expected to be part of the 2008 entertainers. "Salim Anarkali" performed by the batch of 2005-06 and 2006-07 has enchanted audience at the Annual Centrestage Dramatics Competition.

E.C.H.O is the Editorial Entity of Little Flower Public School. Expanded as "Every Class Has an Opinion", it is the voice of the students at Little Flowers. It is a student body born in 2007 and poised to get published, the school magazine of Little Flower Public School.
Mission: Providing LFPS with self sufficient editorial resource and inculcating in students, the values of reading and writing.
Short Term Goal: Publish the 2007-08 Edition of the Magazine by the end January 2008.
Long Term Goal: Edit all published matter related to LFPS including its prospectus, Website, School Magazine, Weekly Newsletters etc.
E.C.H.O is headed by the Chief Editor Gautam P.R and the Chief Designer Pooja Nargundkar.
The Editorial Team is headed by the Assistant Editors Sumedha Rao and Shreyas S. The Design Team is headed by Assistant Designers Swaroop Rao and Ashok Kumar.
