Little Chapel of the Flowers
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Little Chapel of the Flowers is a wedding chapel located on the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is considered one of the more traditional wedding chapels in Las Vegas, avoiding such additions as a drive-through wedding service.
This chapel was one of the first, if not the first, to begin broadcasting weddings live to the Internet,[citation needed] and it remains one of the most popular.[citation needed]
Little Chapel of the Flowers has also been named the "Prettiest freestanding wedding chapel in Las Vegas" by Bride's Magazine.[citation needed]
Little Chapel of the Flowers officially changed it's name to "Chapel of the Flowers" in June of 2007. This change was made in order to make a statement that they no longer consider themselves little.[citation needed]
[edit] Chapels
Chapel of the Flowers has three separate chapels on property.
The Victorian Chapel is the most traditional and oldest chapel on property. The majority of the weddings performed on property are performed in this chapel. It seats approximately 35 people.
The La Capella Chapel is the largest chapel on property and the most recently renovated. The La Capella chapel is a Tuscan themed chapel built to seat about 60 people.
The Magnolia Chapel is the smallest chapel on property. It seats about 20 guests and is found in the back of the property.
[edit] History
Chapel of the Flowers was started over 50 years ago and although they are on the same property the chapel was rebuilt in the mid 1990s.
Dennis Rodman and Carmen Electra were married here in 1998.[citation needed]
Ronnie Vannucci Jr, drummer for The Killers, was a photographer until 2002[citation needed]
