Lithuanian Wikipedia edition of Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Lithuanian Wikipedia is the Lithuanian version of Wikipedia. It is the free and largest Lithuanian internet encyclopedia. This version made first steps in 2003, however truly riched in articles only in 2004. On December 14, 2005 Lithuanian Wikipedia reached 10,000 milestone and on February 26, 2006 reached 40,000 milestone[1]. Latest milestone achieved on August 1, 2007 - 50,000 articles. Now Lithuanian Wikipedia has more than 60,000 articles[2].
