Lithoglyphus naticoides, common name the "gravel snail", is a species of very small or minute freshwater snail with an operculum, an aquatic gastropod mollusk in the family Hydrobiidae, which are sometimes known as the snouted water snails.

This species is called "naticoides" because in shape and general appearance the shell of this species is reminiscent of the shell of the marine moon snails or naticids (for example, the Northern moon snail).

The shell of this species is very small, about 7 or 8 mm in length, and pale in color.
