English: Margiris mound in Punia, Lithuania

The inscription, an excerpt from "Ant Punios kalno", a poem by Maironis, reads:

Tai kapas Margio milžinų!
Nors amžių šešetą sukako,
Kaip jie - tik sauja pelenų!..
Tačiau daugiau už gyvus sako.

Literal English translation:

This is the grave of Margis' giants!
Though six ages passed,
Like them - just a handful of ashes!..
But tell more than the living.
