User talk:Listsvery
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hi, I saw your edits on Swatch internet time. I think you may need a little help in future. Would you like help Alex, with editing wikipedia? I was given this great link by user:owenDavis, about getting adopted. If you go on my talkpage, you'll see the comment he left there with the link to it. However, i'm not entirely sure if its free, and you might have to pay for it. But I think its worth it either way. I'm new to the site, so dont trust me on this, but I will gladly try and help you if you need it.

License tagging for Image:Electric-gardens-festival 001318 MainPicture.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Electric-gardens-festival 001318 MainPicture.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 16:05, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
Oh thank you liverspot
I would give you a barnstar myself, oh if only I could figure out how. Maybe you will have to teach me hehe. But hopefully I will be 'adopted' soon. Oh by the way, I found out that the 'adoption service' is in fact free, so it is very good value for money indeed.
Yes we shall be friends.
And yes your Electric Gardens page was v good. I'm surprised everyone no one bothered to make it before. Did you go to it? As a matter of fact, I did, but I didnt go in 2006. In 2007 i left after saturday because I got a split end. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures myself of the festival. If you went, did you get any? And if not, maybe you could email the owner of a website in which their are pictures, asking for permission to use them on wikipedia? Again, well done. Pollypenhouse (talk) 17:09, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
Oh well done LiverSpot!
what again another delightful page
- BARNSTAR ALERT!*
lol
and if you want to make it better, i suggest finding pictures as one thing to start working on. Also, you mention the 'ladies' chose Kate Nash, you need to explain what the 'ladies' are... or give a hyperlink to another page on wikipedia about them... or something. I think you also need to include a list of all the members of the band. And a list of all their albums and singles. If you are trying to create pages about bands that were at Electric Gardens that have not yet been created, well done, and hopefully eventually you will be able to have a link from every single one of the bands mentioned on electric gardens. Could you please respond to my last question that i left on your page though about whether you have been to electric gardens?? if you have, did you take any pictures? and can you email the owners of the pictures onsites to get permission to use those. Thanks, and again, well done Liverspot! Pollypenhouse (talk) 18:16, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
Oh I accidentally misworded something on my user page
what a most silly-billy of myself I have made.
Anyway, on with more pressing matters, hmmm, yes I will go take a look at it. I think maybe the Jose Vanders should be emailed about it to see what information she does and does not want to be placed on the page about her. I am presuming that you mean 'she' by Jose, but if I am incorrect in my presumptions, and she is rather a 'he,' or something entirely else, please forgive me. Regards, and best wishes for xmas Liverspot. May I be so rude as to enquire where you gathered such an interesting name as Liverspot? is this your real name, or do you just have a liverspot, or are you just generally interested in liverspots? My real name, despite what the account name suggests, is Paris. However, I most depise the name, and would be more than welcome to anything else you may wish to desire to 'appelle' me. Pollypenhouse (talk) 20:40, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
oh ok now liverspot
would you prefer alex or liverspot??
and isn't it most strange, we both went to Electric Gardens. Maybe fate brought us together. Are you male or female Alex?
Pollypenhouse (talk) 20:47, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
Liverspotalex
could you please specify whether Jose's name is like 'dose' or 'doze'. I am not entirely sure which one you meant, because sometimes 'doze' is spelt the other way anyway. Can you provide a reference to this? and if so, send it to me. Pollypenhouse (talk) 21:54, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Peggy Sue and the Pirates
A tag has been placed on Peggy Sue and the Pirates requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Sockpuppetry case
You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Listsvery for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. Whitstable (talk) 12:17, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
hello Alex
It appears that both you and I have been accused of being sockpuppets (false accounts operated by another existing account) of 'Iamandrewrice,' a rather infamous wikipedian. Basically, he was blocked, and has been making these fake accounts for a while now, and they think that we are just more of those, (so believe it or not they are actually accusing you and I of being the same person!). Well I do happen to have followed for some time this 'Andrewrice' fellow, which is actually the reason I am being accused! well anyway dear fellow, I do happen to have some knowledge on the user, so let's hope I can put that to good use and prove that we are not bloody 'Iamandrewrice',
unless,
you are???
oh my dear god! Alex, are you 'Iamandrewrice'?! If you are, please do not reply to me ever again! Pollypenhouse (talk) 21:00, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
good good, I am glad to hear it alex
I am actually rather annoyed at the situation they are putting us in! when I could be spending this time editing!! Well if you have a look here: Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Pollypenhouse and here: Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Listsvery I have left them comments, hopefully you can help prove we are not them?? Well they believe that AndrewRice is the same person as me because one user (Whitstable, I would advise you not to ever deal with this user, not a nice character if you know what I mean) believes that we have the same birthday, even though he can't provide any evidence to prove this! Oh by the way, I noticed he had one of the articles you made (i think it was peggy sue and the pirates) deleted saying the band wasnt notable enough. I feel sorry for you in that you are now going to have to start up a discussion with this uncivil user. I am pretty sure they are a notable band, well if they were playing at EG, then they definitely were, and you must explain that to him/her. If he/she does not listen, then obviously, I will back you all the way on finding a more 'qualified' oppinion.
PS, hope you had a nice xmas.
Have the bands replied to the emails yet?
and aww bad luck on the essay, ill start working again on my hwk tomorow. Attending such a privalaged private school does take its toll Pollypenhouse (talk) 12:11, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

- NO! this is not fair! our precious time is being wasted because they want to believe some story made up by that 'Whitstable'? Well I'm sorry, I would have a good mind to have the chap blocked. In fact, I would like to write to the head of wikipedia about him. How can I do that? And why have you been copying the way I do my reference links??? Pollypenhouse (talk) 14:05, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
Hi
I would like to say that I am going to continue looking for another adopter. I suggest you do the same, as he/she is obviously making no effort with you and is not even attempting to review your case and view that you are not a sockpuppet. A good adopter trusts and believes his adoptee, which it is apparent that yours does not. I think both of us would be better, finding ourselves administrative adopters. My regards my new friend Pollypenhouse (talk) 15:19, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
