[edit] Notary
There is no article on the Notary as it existed in English law in the 19th century. Civil law notary does not fit, because England is not a civil law country. However, the training and powers of the British notaries in the 19th century was legal training, and so Notary public, as we understand it in the US today, does not correctly describe the office. It might be better to de-link it in both The Grand Duke and The Sorcerer, or to link it to Solicitor instead. Best regards, -- Ssilvers (talk) 14:30, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Norms
Thanks for changing the link in the Rorschach inkblot test article. I agree that it should not go to a disambiguation page. Your change helped me realize that neither the dab link nor the link to Normative is really very accurate, because "norms" in the Rorschach article refers to a statistical concept. The normative article discussed the sociological concept of normative behavior, which really has little to do with statistics. The only article that I know of that discusses the statistics of norms is Psychometrics. So I pipe-linked the word to that article. If you disagree please let me know and we can discuss. If you agree and change other links to the word in articles related to psychological tests, I think psychometrics is the best link. Thanks. Ward3001 (talk) 21:31, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
