[edit] Gay elephant tycomabanucleoid virus
Is there really such a thing? It sounds a bit like vandalism. I haven't checked elsewhere yet —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jon Fawkes (talk • contribs) 17:22, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
- Looks like it was added last October. I went ahead and removed it. A google search reveals only Wikipedia mirror sites or an article from The Meridian Star, a daily newspaper from Mississippi, which was published in March of this year[2]. It's used as a throwaway line to end a list of viruses named after animals, making me think that the author of the article came here, saw it, and thought it would amusing to include in his article for The Meridian. I suspect that he knew it wasn't real. --Joelmills 21:26, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
