Talk:List of theories

Contrary to the statement at the beginning of the article there seem to be two viewpoints:
- This is indeed largely a list of theories but not branches of knowledge with "theory" in their name.
- String theory and relativity theory are branches of knowledge with "theory" in their name. Essentially all of the mathematics/physics topics ("theories") listed are on the same footing as these.
Furthermore, just adding a section == List of theories == and a link back to this article on each article for one of these "theories" just to make the present article have lots of links to it is ridiculous, and these links should be removed. -- Chuck 20:00, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
