[edit] Who Authored Graveyard Shift?
If you look at the data on the PS2 DVD of Guitar Hero, you will see that the data on disc itself says that the band for Graveyard Shift is Windtunnel Syndrome. The disc lists the title and band for each song. So there is no reason to think that this information on the disc itself is invalid. I don't think you can get any more conclusive than this. As a further note if you look at Windtunnel Syndrome's web site on MySpace [1] you see that they have a copy of the song "Graveyard Shift" as one of their songs that people can hear. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Protektor35 (talk • contribs) 20:53, 29 April 2008 (UTC) Protektor35 (talk)
- The problem is is that we need a strong confirmation that WSyn created the song; see the discussion in the Featured List candidacy discussion that points to this need. The fact that it may be on the disk or on their myspace page is not sufficient for this; we need a reliable source for this. --MASEM 22:51, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Are you saying that we can't trust the data on the retail release disc as a reliable source? That's just crazy. If the data for the song is labeled by Red Octane as performed by Windtunnel then why in the world would you think Red Octane put the wrong information on the disc? That makes no sense at all. To say that they didn't know what they were putting on the disc is just plain crazy.

- No we can't; that is original research, as it does require to access the disk in a way not meant to be done. --MASEM 04:26, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Some footnotes feel extraneous...
Do we need to have footnotes that explain that the RHCP or Joan Jett songs in this game are covers of songs recorded by different artists? A link to the specific section would be sufficient for song information in these situations. There shouldn't need to be any notes about who DIDN'T perform the song. -- TRTX T / C 17:55, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
