This page needs some serious clean-up and organization, especially in consideration of the fact that there is already a separate page for songs about LA that is more complete.

"California" is not a Weezer song. What is commonly referred to as "California" by Weezer is actually the Rentals song, which was eventually changed to "Barcelona" anyway.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers song "Dani California" is not actually about California. Its about a girl who is given the pseudonym Dani California. (Incidentally the same one mentioned as 'Dani the girl' in the song "By The Way", and the 'Teenage bride with a baby inside in "Californication".)

well, it rally doesn't matter. what matters is that you keep this article because somebody will find it useful. STOP PUTTING TAGS!!!!!!!!!. IT'S USEFUL!!!!!!!. CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND?

I think the page should be kept, but I think there should be a link to the Los Angeles songs page. It doesn't make sense to try and maintain two lists that should be identical but never will be. Alanraywiki 04:15, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

I think we should shorten the list of "Los Angeles songs" on this page to only the most well-known, and leave all the other "LA songs" for the Los Angeles songs page. Bedient (talk) 14:10, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

"Take California", by The Propellerheads, a song about California? Please. --Arnaudh 17:27, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Currently the songs under the "San Francisco" header are organised in a table, while the rest of the article is as a bulleted list. There should be some consistency here. So, all tables or no tables? Bedient (talk) 14:10, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
