[edit] Useless list?
Not only do I not consider this "another useless list" as Bachrach44 called it in his proposal for deletion, but I'd like to explain further here why I find such lists very insightful. While I have used Wikipedia for research, the internal links also allow for a wonderful consciousness flow of learning. Lists too, help to research related individuals, events or places.
It occurred to me that there had been a number of 'sister acts' but I couldn't find a list or article that linked them, which is what led me to create this list. Now, while this list is all biological sisters so far as I know, there have been allegations of sister teams that 'created' their relationship.
This list or another, could indeed, include sisters that did not perform and link their married or professional names, or other 'sister' teams that were known as such but were perhaps not biological sisters.
I have no strong vested interest in where this goes from here, but I do find lists such as this very useful and interesting. Doc 23:26, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Purpose?
What is the purpose of this article?
- To list sets of sisters that are famous, either individually or in combination?
- To list groups of people that are commonly or professionally known by collective names including the word "sisters"?
It can't seem to make up its mind. Once we've come up with a clear purpose for this article, we can rephrase this statement
- "There have been many entertainers and performers on stage, film and television, either biological or not,"
to make sense. The way it is, it reads that the entertainers and performers may be biological or non-biological (robots?), or maybe that the films and television programmes in question may or may not be of a biological nature.
While I'm at it, can anybody explain why List of brothers is non-existent at the moment? Was it never created for some reason that escapes me, or was it deleted for some reason that escapes me? -- Smjg (talk) 13:11, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
